have filmed at most venues in the Thames Valley area and many further afield.
I form my own personal opinions of each and I'd be happy to discuss them with
you and save you some legwork maybe. Nowhere is perfect but some are closer to
it than others! I think you have to fall in love with the place whilst being aware
of any limitations. Rather than list everywhere I have been I'd just like to share
with you a few of my favourites:-
Stoke
Park Club (Stoke Poges) - Palacial, nice gardens, sumptuous dining room
and very good food.
Danesfield
House (Marlow) - Stunning building, magnificent grounds and rooms, excellent
food.
Great Fosters (Egham)
- Grand manor house style with dark oak panels, beams and loads of character,
plus good food.
Clearwell
Castle (Forest of Dean) - A perfectly sized Gothic castle for a wedding,
superb grounds. Worth a trip down the M4.
Blenheim Palace (Woodstock) - Magnificent!
