What's Included?
The price includes the first full length DVD which you can review and advise me of bugs or amendments if any. The presentation case and face of each DVD are printed with images from your wedding. The DVD will have a menu system so you can navigate to different scenes e.g. "Signing the Register", "Speeches", "Highlights" etc.

The Highlights Montage
Highlights are a beautiful black and white montage summary of the day, mostly in slow motion and are always included on every BW wedding. "Highlights only" DVDs in black and white or colour make great mementos to give to guests.

Special Mixes
Shorter versions or special re-mixes can be edited to order of course. Just let me know soon after you receive the preview copy while the file is still on the edit suite computer.

High Definition / Blu-ray
High definition equipment is used for all filming and editing giving you better quality standard DVDs and the possibility to have a Blu-ray disc version.

Blu-ray disc (BD) is the name of an optical disc format that offers more than five times the storage capacity of traditional DVDs. This allows up to 2 hours of the original camera HD quality to be realised. In theory there is five times more detail and colours are certainly more natural and vibrant. As with audio Hi-Fi I acknowledge that not everyone is bothered by or even notices such wonders. Me, I'm a big fan but you have to make up your own mind. I can demonstrate Blu-ray or you can see it at any decent TV showroom.

Please order your Blu-ray disc(s) at the same time as your standard DVD copies to avoid a charge for reloading all the video files to the computer. Then you are future proofed. You may not have a Blu-ray player yet but they are coming down in price. They will play your existing standard DVDs but of course a Blu-ray disc will not play in your old DVD player.

Why not add a Blu-ray player to your wedding gift list? After all it's a lot more fun than a third toaster!

iPod/iPad Version
Have the full wedding, highlights or a special mix version downloaded to your iPod or iPad.

Online Highlights
Have your highlights (in black and white or colour) or an edited short version of the
full video online in High Definition. It will be protected so that only you, your family and friends can view it.

Coverage
I usually start with the guests arriving or the bride getting ready, this is often one of the nicest parts of the day that the groom and guests would otherwise miss. Then it's everything that happens in between through to the first few dances, so you get a flavour of the evening. I'd be pleased to discuss any further coverage you may want.

Guest Interviews
I know that dreaded feeling you have as a guest at a wedding where the video guy with his furry microphone is working his way through all the guests towards you and you haven't got a clue what to say. So if you really want interviews my suggestion is to appoint the best man or someone lively to hold the microphone and ask the questions. Guests are then at least a bit more at ease.

Video Diary Room
By far the best way to get those guest reactions is to have a VIDEO DIARY ROOM. We need a separate room where guests are left on their own to leave their messages. I have an assistant for this and open the room for messages after the meal for a few hours. I edit it Big Brother style - it never fails to be hilarious.

Growing Up Photos
Start the film in a light hearted way with photos of you two growing up, up to a dozen of each and one of you together is ideal.

Pricing
With prices from £650.00* to £1595.00 there is BW quality to suit your wedding, please contact me for a full current price list. I'll need to know your wedding date as most summer Saturdays are booked at least a year in advance. Don't forget your venue and contact details. Also it's only fair to let me know up front if it's going to be a big or unusual wedding e.g. loads of guests, special or multiple ceremonies etc. Discounts for low season Jan-March.

Editing Service
I can turn amateur wedding or holiday videos into something special (extra charge for miracles though). Also presentation showreels for actors or pop stars, in fact anything on video. It can be simple cuts or complex audio/visual mixing to single frame accuracy on my non-linear computer system. Most formats can be handled. The charge for editing is £30.00/hr, if you can give me details of your project I can give you an idea how long it will take.

Your Images as a Slide Show Montage on DVD
Your honeymoon, family or whatever photos presented as a slide show set to music on DVD. Ideal too for the best man's speech. Contact me for a quote.
